1. Brief
Having two production lines (No.1 Medium-sized Section Steel
Plant and No.2 Medium-sized Section Steel Plant) and built with
advanced technology and equipment, Masteel's Section Steel Plant
is one of the main production bases of medium-sized section steel
in China.
Its productions are featured by constant chemical composition,
reliable mechanical properties, accurate outline dimensions, and
are always perfectly packed with clear markings. Its mining I-beam
steels have wide flanges, reduced height, thick web and good
stability, and can be used down in mining pit where very complex
and varying load force condition exists. With thick web and
increased side width the U-shaped steels are easy in fixing and
attaching. With a large capacity of load bearing and good
stability in application, they are more suitable for use down in
deep mining pits or large coal mines where very complex and
varying load force condition exists. Now the mining I-beam steels
and U-shaped steels produced by the plant have been widely used in
many large coal production bases in China. Angles and channels
have been widely used in ship building, motor vehicle, power
transmission line supporting tower, bridges, building and steel
structures of other applications.
